2D MICRO-ADJUSTABLE ALUMINUM BUCKLE: It allows a perfect and personalized closure of the shoe and an easy adjustment even during the race. The exclusive micrometric satin aluminum closure is one of the most advanced and functional closure systems on the market today.
The micrometric lever acts on a toothed band through two levers: a lower one to be pulled to increase tension, the upper one to be pressed for release.
The lever is interchangeable and thanks to the tilting opening it allows a simple and instant cleaning.
AICS (ADJUSTABLE INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM) : allows you to adapt the shoe to any morphology of the foot ensuring a constant seal. This new closure adjustment system, in shaped PU, is positioned on the instep and is equipped with two micrometric and adjustable ratchets.
COMFORT FIT TONGUE: the tongue that covers the instep is perforated to increase ventilation inside the shoe and is equipped with a soft padding for greater comfort.
HEEL (HEEL CUP) : a newly developed heel, with external air intakes, anatomically shaped and made of plastic material injected to be non-deformable.
The windshield is antiscalzante and antitendinite. In the high rear part, the reflex inserts allow excellent visibility in poor light conditions.
TRANSPIRANT INSOLE: a breathable insole with a special anatomical design is used that actively stimulates the cyclist's foot at each pedal stroke, improving athletic performance. It is hypoallergenic and antibacterial and thanks to a series of micro perforations it ensures excellent foot ventilation. The insole is also removable.
SOLE: two types of soles are available:
GAERNE EPS EPS CARBON FIBER SOLE : carbon fiber and glass fiber sole which guarantees lightness and rigidity. The ultra-thin thickness allows the foot to position itself at a minimum distance from the pedal, ensuring a round pedal stroke without energy loss. Non-slip rubber inserts on the back and front of the sole offer safety when walking. The rear insert is interchangeable. Sole compatible with all quick release pedals.
GAERNE EVOLUTION SOLE : is the racing sole par excellence, built in nylon to guarantee high level performance and with a mirrored look. The non-slip rubber insert in the back of the sole offers safety when walking. Sole compatible with all quick release pedals.
