The MET Codatronca is a short tail aero helmet, designed and engineered to let the head move freely in multiple positions while remaining aerodynamic from all angles.
The Codatronca's shape was developed using CFD analysis and wind tunnel testing. The front face of the helmet has a wide body design that guides air over the rider's shoulders; the short tail makes the helmet more versatile in the most technical races or when crosswinds come into play.
Visibility was one of the main streams of development. The magnetic shield is wider on the sides - which optimises the peripheral view - and higher over the eyes, so even in an aggressive aero position on the bike your field of view is always clear.
