One advantage of electronic shifting is that the shifters can be positioned freely. With the Sprinter shifters, Shimano offers a corresponding solution.
The shift levers or shift buttons are clipped onto the road bike handlebars and wrapped with handlebar tape. Thanks to the free arrangement, the lever can be positioned so that shifting is also possible in the lower handlebar position.
