2020 will mark the 15th anniversary of the iconic Ruben Alcantara signature Ruben grip, so we’ve had plenty of time to come up with some improvements to this classic grip. We ´ve been wanting to go for this with Ruben for some time now, and now is the time!

One of our most requested tires from trail riders over the years has been the Ruben Ligera Tire. Along with those requests, we have been asked for a larger, more modern size. So we took the classic design and given it a 2.40” size for its return. The Ruben Ligera tire is a trails specific tire that combines the lighter weight of the Kevlar folding construction with the the HPPR, high pressure and pinch resistant layers, making this classic tire even better.

The Ruben 2.25 x 20" tire is made with the same thread as the original callejera tire but with less knobby shape and a few new details. This is the preferred tire for all of our transition riders rear wheels. Foldable version
